Workshop ticket payments are for 1 attendee and all materials required for them to complete the project based on their artistic ability. At times there may be additional add-ons at cost, but these are always optional.

1 Support staff and/or adult are welcome to remain with attendees to assist. Additional seating is provided.

The doors will open approximately 15mins before your workshop start time. Prompt arrival is appreciated. (I'm ex-Army, I cant help starting on time!)

Completion and Quality

All the workshops at Wise Old Owl are provided with an approximate completion time. This is an estimate based on the average speed of an average group of people. This time can vary and, at times, has varied by as much as 30 minutes. If you require the attendee to finish at a specific time please let me know at the start of the workshop and I will endeavour to meet those time restraints.

Wise Old Owl does not take responsibility for incomplete workshop items, items that are finished poorly and/or prone to breakage, or items that are not created in accordance with instruction provided.

Polymer Clay curing:

On a rare occasion, whilst curing polymer clay, the oven may spike causing slight burning/discolouration of clay. All possible precautions are taken to prevent this. If this occurs as a direct result of Wise Old Owl's actions, a partial refund may be offered.

AGE LIMITATIONS

Each workshop has a recommended lower age limit. This is provided based on:

• Average attention span
• Safety with equipment including Hot Glue Guns, Knifes, Scissors, Blades etc
• Complexity of the project we are making.

If you feel that your child may be able to meet these requirements, even though they are of a slightly younger age, you are free to book them in. Alternatively, you can remain to assist them through-out the workshop.

REFUND POLICY

All workshop tickets purchased are non-refundable unless required by law. Therefore refunds will not be provided for reasons including, but not limited to:

• I’ve changed my mind
• I can no longer attend
• my friend can’t come so I’d like to cancel
• I’d now prefer to attend another session
• my friend booked for me and I didn’t know (i.e. double booking)
• I’m sick/my car broke down/it’s too hot and I don’t want to go out
• I made a mistake and booked the wrong workshop

If Wise Old Owl is unable to deliver the workshop for which a ticket is purchased, or if attendance is affected by lockdown due to COVID-19, you will be provided a full refund.

Intellectual and Artistic Copyright on Workshops

• Techniques and product designs taught during paid workshops are for personal use or development only and are not to be replicated or re-taught for financial gain without the written permission of the instructor.

Angel Policy: Handmade items

Wise Old Owl sources a large range of products from different companies and brands. In general, the following Angel Policy applies:

• Handcrafted work made for commercial purposes with materials purchased through Wise Old Owl must be personally and individually created by the selling artist. It is the users responsibility to confirm individual Angel or Copyright policies of Branded products.

• Images contained on this website are copyrighted, which means that they may not be copied without permission.

Persons participating in this angel policy assume all liability for suitability of their work and agree to indemnify Wise Old Owl from any disputes arising from their work.

Intellectual and Artistic Copyright on Gift Range and Display items

• Handcrafted items on sale or display remain the intellectual copyright of the creator and may not be photographed or reproduced in any means without the permission of said owner.

We reserve the right to change, modify, remove or substitute without notice any information shown on the site. Prices are subject to change without notice. Where errors occur in pricing on the shopping cart system we reserve the right to rectify errors or alternatively not supply goods (ie if a price appears as zero in error which can occur when we are adjusting product listing).

We would appreciate it if customers would inform us of any damage or defects in goods within 7 days of receipt. We exclude liability to you for any unforeseeable loss or damage which you may suffer as a result of our negligent performance of any services provided to you except in relation to death and personal injury. This does not affect your statutory rights in relation to the goods.
